Consiglia Licciardi is an extraordinary classic Neapolitan perfomer. After taking  her degree in opera vocal perfomance  she  dedicated herself to classic Neapolitan song.
During her 25-year career she awarded prestigious prizes becoming one of the leading exponent of Parthenopean music .

Thanks to Her refined musical attitude , she developed in a few years  her own unique style which both recalls one of the most beautiful voices of the past, like Gilda Mignonette's, and puts itself as a pattern for many singers embarking on classic Neapolitan song.

The undeniable musical gift ,  together with the uncomparable soothness of her voice, lets  express herself even in different areas of Parthenopean song.

In two of her albums (Alma latina and Ariammore)she has actually presented the deepest sonorities of Mediterranean tradition.

She worked with Roberto Murolo, (with whom she recorded some albums), Gipsy Kings, Frank Sinatra, (ain memorable duet at the Rome embassy in 1991), Patrizio Trampetti, Joe Amoruso, Nuno da Camara Pereira.
She gave many concerts in opera's theatre in Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, Albany, Spain, Pourtugal, France, Germany,  Holland and Belgium, Argentine, Uruguay, Brasil, and so on.
Consiglia Licciardi's new work, which will be published in April 2008, will show the neapolitan artist playing the great classics of Parthenopean song, with a suggestive orchestra composed by 4 harps (2 classic harps and 2 celtic harps,) mandoloncello , drums and voice.
